Diplomato con il massimo dei voti nel conservatorio nazionale di Avignone in Francia, si dedica alla musica popolare sarda come ricercatore, interprete e insegnante. Studia trascrive e rielabora, passando dalla musica ereditata dagli strumenti autoctoni agli strumenti adottati quali fisarmonica e organetto diatonico. Come musicista continua ad esibirsi nell'isola e all'estero, esprimendo con forte stile personale i linguaggi coreutico-musicali comuni all'intera isola. Grazie al suo straordinario talento, abilità musicale e conoscenza, è riconosciuto come uno dei migliori interpreti della musica tradizionale sarda.

Graduated with full marks from the national conservatory of Avignon in France, he has devoted himself to Sardinian popular music as a researcher, interpreter and teacher. He studies, transcribes and reworks, passing from the musical sounds inherited from native instruments to adopted instruments, such as the accordion and diatonic organ, melodeon. As a musician he continues to perform on the island and around the world. Thanks to his extraordinary talent, musical skill and knowledge he expresses the choreutic-musical languages common to the entire island with a uniquely personal style, and is recognized as one of the best interpreters of all traditional Sardinian music.
